Aurora
At the worst of times Project Recovery stepped in and managed to make mine and Auroras mother's life somewhat manageable. Myself being homeless at the time and her mother being incarcerated and then having to complete a court ordered 90 day rehab stay in Alamosa. We both had our hands tied. With noway to care for our dog as she deserved and needed. Now that a good amount of time has passed and her mother finding a way to reach out to Project Recovery. Then with my determination and love forAurora and the ability to navigate Colorado on the Greyhound and local buses To get Aurora from the dog pound in Alamosa. Then two weeks later finally getting her to the Springs and into the care of Project Recovery and their amazing team. We have now both gotten off the streets, out of jail and rehab. WE both are employed, myself in construction and her mother as part of the Project Recoveryteam. We both have a good amount of recovery time under our belt. Have become permanent residence of Colorado Springs and now both reside in sober living homes and with Aurora now by our side.. There is no doubt in my mind. Without the help of Project Recovery. Neither of us would have made it this far and now with the light at the end of the tunnel seeming so reachable. I dont see why we wont be able to lead clean and genuinely happy lives and never have to look back. Thanks Project Recovery your friendJosh
